    June 2020 update of position limits for some commodity derivative contracts

    The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has today published updated position limits for certain commodity derivative contracts traded on ICE Futures Europe. These limits are published in advance of the publication of ESMA Opinions on the limits, and may change in light of an ESMA opinion, or in the event that we decide it is necessary. This is in accordance with the statements of ESMA and of the FCA published on 28 September 2017.

    Form 22 - Notice of Commencement of Business by Person Exempted from Holding Capital Markets Services Licence to carry on Business in Advising on Corporate Finance under Paragraph 7(1)(b) of the Second Schedule to the Regulations

    China sends former insurance regulator Xiang Junbo to 11 years in prison for accepting 18 million yuan in bribes

    SCMP, 16 Jun 2020

    The former chairman of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) before the industry regulator was merged with the bank supervisory body, was sentenced by the Changzhou Intermediate Court in Jiangsu province, according to a statement. The former official, who also served as deputy governor of the Chinese central bank, was fined 1.5 million yuan and had his assets confiscated.
